What is Document Gallery ?
Document Gallery is A WordPress plugin that can be used to embed a list of documents, complete with descriptions and file type icons, just like they would be images in a gallery .
Document Gallery works via a complex shortcode syntax, detailed in the plugin’s README file.It can be used on download pages to show a list of documents which users can save to their computers.Document Gallery is just like an image gallery, only it can be used for other file types rather than images.Installation:Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.

- Enhancement:
- Thumbnails can now be manually overridden. To do this, either navigate to Dashboard -> Settings -> Document Gallery -> Thumbnail Management and add the image to the target attachment, or set the thumbnail in the attachment edit window.
- Users can now specify the number of columns for a gallery.
- Users can now create galleries with specific filetype(s) by using the mime_types option. Thanks for suggesting this functionality, mepmepmep!
