LivingLogic AG is announcing that with version number 5.13.1 is already available to download.
What is ?
is An extensible HTML and XML generator, a cross-platform templating language and much more .
XIST is also a XML parser with a very simple and pythonesque tree API. Every XML element type corresponds to a Python class and these Python classes provide a conversion method to transform the XML tree (e.g. into HTML). XIST can be considered ‘object oriented XSLT’. XIST was written as a replacement for the HTML preprocessor HSC, and borrows some features and ideas from it. It borrows basic ideas (XML/HTML elements as Python objects) from the HTMLgen and HyperText applications.
This is changelog for version 5.13.1 :
- The UL4 function repr now handles recursive lists/dicts similar to Python repr (i.e. it doesn’t raise an exception for infinite recursion).
- url.URL now handles filenames containing spaces correctly when converting between URLs and filenames.
