What is Broccoli ?
Broccoli is .
Broccoli works based on a “Brocfile.js” file. In this file developers can place various build (compilation) instructions which are executed every time an application is loaded on the client’s side. By running the “broccoli serve” command, any changes to the original “built” files triggers a rebuild, automatically sending the updated assets to the client’s application. Unlike other similar solutions that utilize this “watch-rebuilt-serve” system, Broccoli doesn’t rebuild the entire assets repository, but only the ones where the changed file has any input. This reduced rebuild times and allows developers to save resources for other more crucial tasks. On top of this optimized working method, Broccoli also features support for an extensible core (via plugins), asset caching, and a serialized build process.
