What is autoNumeric ?
autoNumeric is An open source, lightweight jQuery plugin for easier number formatting, improving the way numbers are entered and displayed on the Web .
The autoNumeric plugin works by waiting for the user input, taking the entered number and inserting separators or currency characters to improve the number’s format readability.autoNumeric is not restricted to form fields, being capable of automatically formatting regular HTML elements like DIVs, SPANs, (numbers in) paragraphs, etc..A simple demo is included with the plugin’ download package.
