CrossOver Linux, aplikasi berbasis Wine yang memungkinkan penggunanya untuk menginstall aplikasi Windows dan Games di komputer linux baru saja merilis versi 14.1.1 dan telah siap didownload.

CrossOver bisa dibilang merupakan versi “Pro” dari Wine yang selama ini kita kenal. Produk ini dibuat oleh perusahaan bernama “CodeWeavers” dimana para karyawannya adalah (sebagian besar) orang-orang yang juga mengembangkan Wine. (more…)

CrossOver Linux, an application based on Wine that allows users to install popular Windows applications and PC games on a Linux computer, is now at version 13.1.0.

CrossOver is getting regular updates, and its developers are trying to integrate more features with each new version. In this case there is just one change, but some of you might be glad, especially the users who like the Quicken finance suite. (more…)

CodeWeavers, Inc., CodeWeavers, Inc., a leading developer of software products that turn Mac OS X and Linux into Windows-compatible operating systems, not surprisingly announced today the release of CrossOver 10.1 and CrossOver Games 10.1.1 for Mac with support for Lion OS. Both versions of CrossOver are available immediately. CrossOver allows Windows applications and games to be played on Mac and Linux PCs without the need for a Windows operating system license.

In one of its most boring press releases in ages, CodeWeavers simply announced that, yes, its flagshipCrossOver products now run on Apple’s much-anticipated Lion OS release. “There wasn’t much choice in the matter, now was there?” opined Jeremy White, CodeWeavers CEO. “I mean, if we don’t ship Lion support, we look like doofuses.” (more…)
