Yang baru di WordPress 3.0.2

Developer WordPress beberapa hari yang lalu merilis secara khusus security update WordPress 3.0.2 yang menyela diantara rilis WordPress 3.1 beta. Seperti biasa, para pengguna admin dapat melakukan update dengan mudah mengikuti notifikasi yang ada pada dasbor masing-masing atau dengan cara mengunduh berkas wordpress-3.0.2 dari server WordPress kemudian mengganti semua file di server blog/cms masing-masing.

Dari rilis resmi yang dikeluarkan oleh pihak WordPress, beberapa isu keamanan tingkat sedang ditemukan pada versi WordPress 3.0, diantaranya yang paling menonjol adalah kelemahan pada author-level yang bisa mengancam dan mengakses seluruh situs.  Berikut daftar lengkap pembaharuan di versi ini: (more…)

WordPress 3.3.2 Dirilis

20 April 2012, WordPress kembali merilis versi barunya, WordPress 3.3.2 yang merupakan versi update keamanan dan maintenance. Berikut adalah libraries WordPress yang diupdate pada versi kali ini:

  • Plupload (version 1.5.4), which WordPress uses for uploading media.
  • SWFUpload, which WordPress previously used for uploading media, and may still be in use by plugins.
  • SWFObject, which WordPress previously used to embed Flash content, and may still be in use by plugins and themes.

Tonight I’ve try to update my WordPress Plugins, the WP e-Commerce on my system is not the latest stable. But some problem happen when I try to update it. Apparently my hosting in the period don’t support any request of WordPress script. Astaghfirullah, so My WordPress system on Maintenance mode now.

WordPress Version 3.0 Highlights

On June 17, 2010, WordPress Version 3.0, named for Thelonious, was released to the public. For more information on this enhancement and bug-fix release, read the WordPress Blog and see the Changelog for 3.0.

For Version 3.0, the database version (db_version in wp_options) changed to 15260, and the Trac revision was 15274.

WordPress 3.0 Highlights

  • WordPress and WordPress MU have merged, allowing the management of multiple sites (called Multisite) from one WordPress installation.
  • New default theme “Twenty Ten” takes full advantage of the current features of WordPress.
