Google is testing out a new Gmail login page that promotes mobile apps for Android and iOS and also shows a big picture of a Nexus 4 running the email app.
“Experience the ease and simplicity of Gmail, everywhere you go,” the message says, hinting at the fact that a smartphone with the Gmail app installed will give you access to your email at all times.
As mentioned, the new login page sports two buttons, one that leads you to Google Play and one that takes you to the Apple AppStore.
If you’ve logged into your account today, it’s nearly certain that you’ve already seen the modification.
Previously, Google displayed several details regarding the Gmail service.
For instance, you could view exactly how many megabytes of free storage it offered, the fact that it came with a spam filter and a link to learn more about mobile access.
