In an article entitled “Rolling Awesome of the Day,” Mr. Poortvliet informs all users of the openSUSE Tumbleweed rolling-release operating system, especially those who are using the KDE desktop environment, that they’re in for a treat, as the developers have managed to update all the KDE technologies in the distribution to the latest versions available at the moment of writing the article.
Among the awesome new KDE software implemented in openSUSE Tumbleweed, we can mention the KDE Plasma 5.4.2 desktop environment, KDE Applications 15.08.2 software suite, which includes numerous KDE apps ported to the KDE Frameworks 5 and Qt 5 technologies, as well as the KDE Frameworks 5.15 and Qt 5.5.1 toolkits.
