Linux News Today: Pisi Linux 2.0 Brings KDE Plasma 5 and LibreOffice 5.1 to Its Turkish User Base

The Turkish developers behind the Pisi Linux operating system have announced that release and immediate availability for download and testing of the seventh Alpha build of their upcoming Pisi Linux 2.0 OS.

According to the developers, Pisi Linux 2.0 will be a great release, and it promises to offer a set of new GNU/Linux technologies over the previous stable release, Pisi Linux 1.2, the most important ones being the move to a long-term supported kernel from the Linux 4.4 series, and the latest KDE Plasma 5, KDE Applications 15.12, and KDE Frameworks 5 software.

The fact of the matter is that this Alpha 7 build is also the first public release of the upcoming Pisi Linux 2.0 release, as it would appear that the previous six Alphas where internal builds only. However, it is a good thing that users can now take the upcoming GNU/Linux distribution for a test drive to discover new features, as well as to report bugs or suggest new functionality to the developers.

The strength of the structure without damaging your system uses hardware safely to the end. In addition, this version was offered to us along with many innovations.”
