Both devices were designed with the enterprise user in mind, and they can be easily deployed in various business segments.

“With these devices we bring security, reliability and unprecedented usability. With the use of encFS, industrial strength firewalls and support for bio-metric devices we bring military grade security to your business data off and on the cloud,” says Robert J. Dohnert in the press announcement.

Introducing Cloudbox Pro and Cloudbook Pro

The Cloudbox Pro is an industrial PC that features a durable design, powered by the recently released netOS Enterprise 8.0.2 Linux operating system. The device is also certified to other enterprise-ready OSes, such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux, SUSE Enterprise Desktop/Server, and Oracle Linux.

Technical specifications of the Cloudbox Pro include an Intel Core i7 4560U CPU running at 1.6GHz, 8GB RAM (it supports up to 16GB RAM), 128GB SSD, as well as Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n supporting up to 300Mbps. Cloudbox Pro comes with wireless keyboard and mouse peripherals.

On the other hand, Cloudbook Pro is a well-known HP laptop that appears to work very well with the netOS Enterprise 8.0 Linux distribution, which makes it perfect for people on the go or students. Black Lab Software says that it can be easily adopted by universities that want to deploy it campus-wide to their students and teachers.

“Cloudbook Pro is compatible with Chromebook charging ports and because of its unique high definition capabilities can also power presentation boards, 4K TV’s and monitors. The Cloudbook Pro is an excellent device for enterprises and businesses of all sizes,” says Robert J. Dohnert, CEO, Black Lab Software.

Cloudbook Pro’s technical specification include an Intel Core i3-5005U processor running at 2.0GHz, 8GB DDR3L SDRAM, 1TB 5400 RPM Serial ATA Hard Disk Drive (HDD), 17.3-inch HD+ SVA BrightView WLED-backlit touch screen display with a 1600×900 resolution, WLAN 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth, and SuperMulti DVD burner.

Both Cloudbook Pro and Cloudbox Pro devices are available for purchase today from PC/OpenSystems LLC. While the Cloudbox Pro comes with a price tag of $599.99 USD (€532.99), the Cloudbook Pro costs $775.00 USD (€688). They include a 4-year warranty.
