What is quaggaJS ?
quaggaJS is A fully-fledged barcode scanner written entirely in JavaScript, capable of detecting and decoding EAN and CODE128-compatible barcodes .
quaggaJS is not just a JavaScript library for validating barcodes, but a tool that can acquire images from a user’s smartphone camera, analyze it, detect the barcode, correct its alignment, and then decode the information inside it.The library can work with imagery acquired from static photos or video streams the same.Images can be fed from the user’s local camera or just by passing an URL (for remote stored photos).Developers can use it to build barcode scanning mobile apps and Web services, working in real-time and supporting the EAN and CODE128 standards.Basic demos and documentation is included with the quaggaJS download package.
