Cornel Boppart is announcing that Lightcase with version number 2.1.1 is already available to download.
What is Lightcase ?
Lightcase is A responsive jQuery lightbox plugin that can help you showcase single images, entire photo collections, Flash files, videos, and even Google Maps .
Lightcase is a modal windowing system that supports most of the recent changes in the World of Web development, including responsive layouts and touch gestures. This means it can be deployed in both classic desktop environments and mobile devices, providing a modern alternative to some classic lightbox plugins, now severely deprecated.Lightcase doesn't only work as an image viewer, but also supports many other content types as well. This includes inline HTML, content retrieved via AJAX requests, iframe codes, Flash objects, and HTML5 videos.Since YouTube, Google Maps, Vimeo, and many other services provide iframes for embedding their content on remote websites, you can easily pass them to Lightcase and have them presented in a modal window. The plugin is easy to use and follows the general conventions of working with a lightbox toolkit (coding-wise).
