TYPO3 Flow can be used independently of TYPO3, as a classic development framework for various applications, RIAs or websites.TYPO3 Flow merges many advanced programming techniques and principles, from MVC, to IoC, AoP, DDD and TDD.It is recommended to have some prior experience with any PHP framework before delving into TYPO3 Flow.This is because the framework was built especially to handle the advance features and complexity introduced in recent TYPO3 CMS releases, and by doing so requires a higher level of PHP programming knowledge as well. • The new release comes with a number of bugfixes, numerous new features and noticeable speed improvements.
