What is Ment.io ?

Ment.io is An AngularJS plugin for supporting a mentions system just like the one you've seen on Twitter, showing various input alternatives every time a special character has been entered . Ment.io works with contentEditable sections, textareas, and text input fields.Developers have full control over the mentions system's settings, being able to customize what's the character on which the input suggestions dropdown panel is shown, how many suggestions are displayed, what's the display format of which suggestion, and what's the behavior triggered by the selection of one of the suggestions.Besides basic mentions, macros are also supported, macros being automated actions which substitute an inputted element with another element.These macros can be used to support smileys, acronyms, find&replace tools, and various other related systems.Demos and docs are included with the Ment.io download package.
