The player's interface is very customizable, is written using semantic code, and also covers all the basic controls from volume, to mute, timeline seeking, and play/pause buttons. Plyr can be used with responsive pages and Bootstrap layouts, and it is very lightweight when compared to similar tools. Support for WebVTT captions allows developers to show subtitles if ever needed, and future versions will include support for playlists and multi-lingual captions.
