UW Interactive Data Lab is announcing that Polestar with version number 0.9.0 is already available to download.
What is Polestar ?
Polestar is .
Polestar is a Web-based GUI that can be used in creating custom visualization charts for your data sets. Using Vega (actually Vegalite) and Datalib, Polestar is capable of reading a data structure, extracting its main sections and making them available as drag&drop items. The user can grab any of these and move them over a special panel which will then, based on the position where the pills are added, create a graph out of them. Various graph types are supported, like point, tick, area, line, bar, and text. The interface is quite easy to get around, and a debug tool is included that allows developers to tweak the visualization's output event more.
