Mattias Erming is announcing that Shout with version number 0.53.0 is already available to download.
What is Shout ?
Shout is .
Shout is open source and was created to work on top of the Node.js platform, allowing IRC aficionados to have public or private conversations on any IRC channel they want to. The client can be installed locally and used only by you, or it can be hosted online and allow other users to utilize it as well. Shout can work in a public mode allowing anyone to use it, or developers can set this feature off and require all users to register or login before connecting to a channel. The client is also fully responsive, dynamically adapting to any screen size and device type you may be using it on. Various IRC specific control commands are also supported, along with sound notifications and a beautiful default skin.
