Now that the first Beta build of the upcoming GNOME 3.20 desktop environment is available for public testing, the time has come to take a look at the default wallpapers that are to be part of this major release.
While testing the latest Beta build of GNOME 3.20 (3.19.90), we've discovered that, once again, the default wallpaper was changed, so we wanted to share this information with our GNOME readers.
While still retaining the same design pattern, we have to admit that the new Adwaita wallpaper looks a bit smoother to the eye. Not to mention the fact that the night version is quite interesting and does not resemble at all the old look.
The rest of the wallpapers of the GNOME 3.20 desktop environment remain unchanged for now, with the exception of the Whispey Tails one, which got replaced with Iceland Waterfalls (check it out in the gallery attached at the end of the article).
So without further ado, we've managed to get our hands on these wallpapers and attach them below if you want to download them and use on your GNU/Linux operating system right now.
They are part of the gnome-backgrounds 3.19.90 package, which you can download right now via our website. The final release of the GNOME 3.20 desktop environment should hit the streets on March 23, 2016.
