qTranslate Team is announcing that qTranslate X with version number 3.4.6.6 is already available to download.
What is qTranslate X ?
qTranslate X is .
qTranslate X will transform WordPress into a multi-lingual platform, allowing developers to activate different languages for their site. It does not change the WordPress backend text's language, nor does it automatically translate the site's content, but allows editors to add multiple versions to their posts, all in different languages. This is visible by a language selector in the post/page editing screen, where developers can type in the post's content in different languages. A sidebar widget will allow users to change the site's content to a specific language if available, while the backend lets webmasters enable or disable specific languages, site-wise. qTranslate X does not only work via WordPress visual interface, also coming with special markers that can be added to the platform's theme and plugins code, allowing developers to translate the text that's not usually accessible via the backend panel. The plugin also translates dates and time automatically, and also supports WordPress custom fields and custom post types. Installation: Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress. qTranslate X is forked from the now abandoned qTranslate project.
