Today, May 20, 2016, Bernhard Landauer, maintainer of the Manjaro Linux Cinnamon flavor announced the general availability of the Release Candidate (RC) version of Manjaro Linux 16.06 "Daniella" Cinnamon Edition.
Based on the recently released Manjaro Linux 16.06 RC1 and powered by the long-term supported Linux 4.4 kernel, Manjaro Cinnamon 16.06 Release Candidate is now available for public testing with the Cinnamon 3.0.1 desktop environment by default, along with the Nemo 3.0.0 file manager, and the Vertex Maia and Vertex Maia Square Cinnamon themes.
As expected, many of the default applications have been updated to their latest versions. Among these, we can mention the Mozilla Firefox 46.0.1 web browser, Mozilla Thunderbird 45.1.0 email and news client, LibreOffice 5.0.6 "Still" office suite, as well as GIMP 2.8.16 image editor.
Other popular software included in the RC (Release Candidate) build of the upcoming Manjaro Linux 16.06 "Daniella" Cinnamon Edition operating system, we can mention the VLC Media Player video player, Pragha music player, Pidgin multi-protocol instant messenger, and HexChat IRC client.

Manjaro Linux 16.06 Cinnamon Edition Release Candidate also includes most of the upstream Manjaro Linux utilities, such as Manjaro Printer to help users with the installation and configuration of their printers, Manjaro User Guide for newcomers to this Arch Linux-based operating system, and Manjaro Welcome, a useful tool for everyone who get started with the OS.
The latest Calamares 2.2.2 and Thus graphical installers are available as well, along with the CLI (command-line) installer, and the newest version of the Pamac graphical package manager has been added as well. Other useful tools included in the RC build of Manjaro Linux 16.06 Cinnamon Edition are Yaourt package manager for AUR, ISOUSB, GParted partition editor, and Baobab disk usage analyzer.
Last but not least, the latest version of the Manjaro Settings Manager utility is present to help users install one of the supported Linux kernel packages.
