Apache Software Foundation is announcing that Apache NiFi with version number 0.2.1 is already available to download.
What is Apache NiFi ?
Apache NiFi is An Apache project aimed at providing a way to manage data flows and data routes inside a cluster of servers, optimizing and increasing processing power & speed .
Apache NiFi was created for distributed computing systems where data is processed on multiple servers before being sent to the user or to a storage container.While this might seem as a very complicated and time-consuming task, NiFi comes with a Web-based interface where all these data flows and routes can be configured with the help of a visual interface.Just a few clicks here and there, and you’ll be able to control your server’s data processing operations without even having to touch your code.NiFi is very configurable, delivering lots of customizable features, along with the ability to track information flow across the entire server cluster.The system can also be extended with new processors, can be password protected, and supports secure connections via SSL, SSH, and HTTPS.
