Fedora 18 Beta Has Been Delayed Once Again, Its over than 5 times! Haha

Posted on November 02, 2012 by Syauqi Wiryahasana
A few minutes ago, November 1st, Jaroslav Reznik sadly announced that the upcoming Fedora 18 Beta (Spherical Cow) release has been delayed, yes again, for the sixth time! The Fedora 18 Beta operating system was supposed to be out for testing next Tuesday, on November 6th, 2012, but because of some serious bugs and an incomplete upgrade tool, it has been delayed for one more week. “Today at Go/No-Go meeting it was decided to slip Fedora 18 Beta release by one week due to unresolved blocker bugs and incomplete upgrade tool.” “As a result, Fedora 18 Beta will be pushed out by one week but Final release is still planned on Dec 11 as FESCo agreed to cut off one week from schedule to avoid Christmas holidays collision.” said Jaroslav Reznik in the announcement. Apparently, the final release of the Fedora 18 operating system will not be affected by this delay, as it’s still planned for December 11th, 2012. “Please, work on your blocker bugs or help testing the F18 Beta to make sure we will be able to release soon and in the best quality!” ended Jaroslav Reznik today’s announcement. To be honest with you I can’t believe my eyes, this is the 6th delay, and Fedora will probably get a prize or an award for the most delayed Linux operating system. I mean, come on guys, really? What’s going on there? What’s Robyn Bergeron doing? She promised that there won’t be no more delays for Fedora, as the entire Internet was is laughing! Anyway, let’s hope that this will be the last delay and that users will be able to test the Beta version on Tuesday, November 13th, 2012. via Softpedia.
