Bagi para pengguna Mandriva yang sedang harap-harap cemas soal perpindahan pengembangan dari Mandriva ke OpenMandriva.org yang berlangsung cukup lama, ada satu berita penting, bahwa dalam minggu ini Forum (forums.mandriva.com) dan Wiki (wiki.mandriva.com) akan segera dipindah ke domain dan server baru. Berikut pemberitahuannya (via milist dan blog):

The Mandriva Forum will soon be closed and a new forum will be launched. Since Mandriva SA decided to turn over the distribution to a Foundation, the forum and the wiki, currently hosted by Mandriva SA, have continued to be available, but Mandriva SA cannot continue to host them indefinitely. It has taken time for the Foundation to be created and a lot of things still remain to be done, but we are moving on. You can follow our progress in the temporary Foundationmailing list and wiki. We have decided to gather all the web services together using Drupal core 7. In addition, authentication will be required only once, instead of the current mode, where you have to authenticate separately for each web service: forum, wiki, bugzilla, etc. In order to post in the new forum or wiki, you will have to subscribe to the new authentication system. The new forum will deal with the same topics as the current forum. Any open threads may need to be restarted. This is an opportunity to reorganize the different sections. We will try to minimize any issues that may arise. When the new forum and the new wiki are opened, the existing Mandriva forum and wiki will be locked, closed and archived. The archives will be made publicly available. Do not hesitate to ask questions or report issues that are important to you! The communication team
