Kabar mengejutkan sore ini baru saja disebar oleh Mandriva SA, perusahaan dibalik Mandriva Linux dan sejumlah produk enterprise berbasis Linux. Mandriva SA mengumumkan strategi korporatnya untuk masuk ke Dunia F1. Belum jelas apa yang dimaksud dengan kata masuk ke Dunia F1 ini. Apakah membentuk tim F1 sendiri (sepertinya tidak mungkin, karena Season 2013 sudah dimulai dan tim sudah fix), atauhkah mensponsori salah satu tim F1. Yang jelas, Mandriva SA akan memberikan solusi software di industri mobil F1 berbasis Open Source. Satu hal yang belum berani dilakukan oleh Red Hat/Canonical sekalipun.
