What is OpenLayers ?

OpenLayers is A JavaScript framework for embedding map on web pages . OpenLayers is developed and supported by a number of organizations around the world.It has mainly been developed to further the use of geographic information in online apps.It is a framework which separates map tools from map data so that all the tools can operate on all the data sources. This is changelog for OpenLayers version 3.9.0 :

• Removal of ol.FeatureOverlay
• ol.TileCoord changes
• Removal of ol.tilegrid.Zoomify
• Replace ol.View.fitExtent() and ol.View.fitGeometry() with ol.View.fit()
