Nancy, just like Sinatra is mainly suitable for Web development and targeting small to medium projects, being a lightweight HTTP wrapper that will allow developers to create the custom behavior for their C# code. They can easily manipulate the HTTP requests that a Web server receives and tie those requests to specific actions inside their app using a custom DSL. This way they can have custom built responses for basic HTTP requests like DELETE, GET, HEAD, OPTIONS, PATCH, POST, and PUT. This indirectly leads to features like i18n, a custom routing and a views engine to also be supported pretty easily. As for hosting it, Nancy can work from any OWIN, FastCgi, ASP.NET and WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) application, and also with Azure, Umbraco and Nginx.
