Today, December 22, the development team behind the Vivaldi cross-platform web browser has been happy to announce the immediate availability for download and testing of the last snapshot build for 2015.
According to the changelog attached at the end of the article, Vivaldi Snapshot 1.0.357.5 rebases the web browser on Chromium 48.0.2564.48, and add support for remembering the full-screen state after a restart. Moreover, it updates the audio icon to point to the “Tabs -> Animation” setting, and implements support for copying all URLs in the address field, not only HTTP and HTTPS ones.
Moreover, there are several changes to the main/horizontal menu for Linux and Windows OSes, such as native menu transition and listing of shortcuts for common actions, including Copy, Paste, Undo, Redo, and Cut. For Linux users, Vivaldi Snapshot 1.0.357.5 fixes the APT warning about two identical source files and adds support for detecting PPAPI Flash on Mandriva Linux and its derivatives.

Next Tab (Recent) has been added to Quick Commands
Among other new features implemented in the Vivaldi Snapshot 1.0.357.5 web browser, we can mention the addition of Next Tab (Recent) in Quick Commands, a fix for an issue related to the target=”_blank” argument for links, support for using the Backspace key for navigating back in history on Mac OS X, as well as support for preventing tab closing on Speed Dial for Linux and Windows systems.
Last but not least, Vivaldi will no longer leave an empty window after the user detaches the last tab.
