Alasdair Mercer is announcing that qr.js with version number 1.1.4 is already available to download.
What is qr.js ?
qr.js is .
qr.js, as the name hints, can render QR codes, those matrix barcodes readable by dedicated QR barcode readers and camera phones, usually found in most smartphones. The qr.js library allows developers to give it a specific text and then have it rendered out as QR code dots using the HTML5 canvas element. Developers can pass it anything they want, from URLs, to basic text. They can also change the QR code's dot and background color, their size and ECC level. qr.js is framework-agnostic, which means it can be used as a stand-alone library, with no additional frameworks needing to be loaded (like Prototpe, MooTools, etc.).
