Frederik De Bleser is announcing that opentype.js with version number 0.6.2 is already available to download.
What is opentype.js ?
opentype.js is .
opentype.js is an open source JavaScript library that can parse font information from the source, meaning the font files themselves. The library supports OpenType and TrueType fonts, allowing developers to read data like: - font glyph paths - font glyph points - font metrics - kerning details Besides these, the library also supports OpenType (glyf) shapes, PostScript (cff) shapes, and composite glyphs. Once these details exported from the font, they can be modified in JavaScript and optionally written back to a font file. This allows developers to create new font files using JavaScript alone. opentype.js works with both client-side (browsers) and server-side (Node.js) environments.
