Apache Software Foundation is announcing that Apache Spark with version number 1.4.1 is already available to download.

What is Apache Spark ?

Apache Spark is A cluster computing system for fast data analysis, specifically created to deal with large data sets in quick-changing environments . Apache Spark was designed to improve processing speeds for data analysis and manipulation programs.It was written in Java and Scala and provides features not found in other systems, mostly because they're not mainstream nor that useful for non-data processing applications.Spark was first created at the UC Berkeley AMP Lab and later donated to the Apache Software Foundation. • The core API now supports multi-level aggregation trees to help speed up expensive reduce operations.
• Improved error reporting has been added for certain gotcha operations.
• Spark’s Jetty dependency is now shaded to help avoid conflicts with user programs.
